Oil & Fuel Absorbent Boom 3m have been designed to absorb hydrocarbon-based spills. They are suited for both Marine and Land based applications where oil & fuel and oil & fuel-based spills may occur.
Creating absorbent barriers around a spill, machinery and drums
Being hydrophobic (repel water) they will float on water and remove and remove oils from the surface. They can also be placed around machines or drums to contain leaks. These booms have been manufactured with a poly spun bonded outer layer and a highly absorbent poly particulate fill that rapidly absorbs oils, fuels and hydrocarbons.
