Keep spill response equipment together, clearly identified and ready to move when an incident occurs. The Spillmaster 120L General Purpose Spill Kit is supplied in a high-visibility yellow wheeled bin, making it practical for workshops, warehouses, maintenance areas and busy industrial sites.
Choose Standard for essential general-purpose spill response supplies, or Professional for a different configuration with more absorbent pads, a pillow and additional cleanup accessories. Both options use a yellow Mobile 120L bin.
Where this kit works best
Designed for general-purpose response to compatible, non-aggressive workplace liquids such as oils, coolants, detergents and water-based fluids. Common locations include mechanical workshops, distribution centres, manufacturing floors, fleet depots and maintenance facilities.

What is the difference between Standard and Professional?

Does 120L mean the kit absorbs 120 litres?
No. The 120L designation refers to the nominal capacity of the wheeled bin, not a tested or guaranteed absorbency capacity.

Emergency Spill Response: The 5 C’s Guide
Workplace Safety Notice: This procedure is tailored specifically for the Spillmaster General Purpose Spill Kit 120L. It may be printed as a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) or displayed as a laminated placard at the kit station.
1. CONTROL the Source & Risk
Open the yellow weather‑resistant 120L wheeled spill kit bin, retrieve the nitrile gloves (2 pairs included), and ensure responders put them on before approaching the spill. If safe, stop the leak at its origin by closing valves, plugging the breach, or carefully uprighting the container to prevent further liquid release.
2. CONTAIN the Spread
Deploy the required number of general purpose absorbent socks (75mm × 1.2m, up to 3 included) end-to-end to form a continuous barrier around the spill perimeter and halt fluid migration. Prioritise blocking access to stormwater drains, unsealed ground, and pedestrian walkways.
3. COMMUNICATE the Hazard
Alert nearby workshop or transit staff and immediately restrict access to the affected zone. Notify your WHS supervisor or site emergency warden according to workplace safety procedures. Ensure the high-visibility spill kit sticker on the bin is properly maintained and refer to the included physical Spill Kit Instructions for rapid on-site reference.
4. CLEAN UP the Liquid
Apply the necessary amount of loose absorbent from the Floor Sweep 10kg bags (2 included) directly onto the pooled liquid to quickly bind and solidify the spill. For concentrated pooling or sump leaks, deploy the general purpose absorbent pillow (45cm × 45cm) directly into the flow to draw up bulk liquids, and use the heavy‑weight general purpose poly pads (48cm × 43cm, up to 25 included) as required to clean up remaining surface films. Use the dustpan & brush to cleanly sweep up the saturated loose absorbents. Collect all contaminated materials and place them into the supplied contaminated waste bags (450mm × 720mm, up to 7 included) for safe handling.
5. CHECK & Restock
Inspect the area to ensure no slippery residue or dangerous fluid sheen remains. Securely seal the contaminated waste bags and dispose of them in accordance with local state environmental regulations.
